Profile
I am Tommaso Fantechi, I was born on 07/05/1996 in Fiesole (FI). I graduated at the University of Florence, where I obtained in 2018 a Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlife Sciences and in 2020 a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies (110/110 cum laude). From 2020 to 2021 I have worked as a research fellow at the Department of Agricultural, Food, Environmental and Forestry Sciences and Technologies at the same University, focusing my activity on consumer behavior and functional products.
Research interests and PhD project
My research interests regard consumer behavior, agri-food marketing, sustainable and healthy consumption. My PhD project aims at studying consumer preferences to promote the transition from animal-based diets towards more plant-based diets. The final purpose of my research is to provide guidelines for policy makers to drive consumer preferences towards more virtuous choices for the environment and their health.
