I did both my bachelor's and master's degrees at Florence University. During my studies, I did traineeships abroad to develop my thesis works. The first was in Mexico at the Universidad Autonoma de Chapingo where I had insight into the Mexican corn varieties. For my master's in "Tropical Natural Resources Management and Rural Development," I had the chance to study with the International Centre of Agriculture Research for Arid Area (ICARDA) in Amman where I worked on Water Harvesting farming in the Badia, a dry rangeland.
