Profile
I graduated at the University of Florence where I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science (110/110L) and a master’s degree (110/110L) in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies. During my study period I worked some period in two wineries of my hometown (Montepulciano). After my degree I took the enabling as agronomist doctor and I attended a research fellowship at Department of Agricultural, Food, Environmental and Forest Science and Technology focusing on precision agriculture. I am passionate about outdoor sport. I actively practice fishing, running and trekking. Moreover, I’m involved in organisation of historical re-enactment of my hometown.
Research interests and PhD project
My research interests focus on agricultural and forest engineering. In particular my PhD focuses on analysis of precision agriculture technologies to increase environmental and economic sustainability, to promote digitalisation, connectivity of farms and the traceability of its products.
